Jay Bot (AI)
The Radlab partnered with IVY to create a chatbot that would answer a variety of IT and other questions. The advantages to such a bot include freeing employee time to enable more face-to-face support; 24/7 access; updated information based on website updates; and ease of use.
Along with IVY, the Radlab is currently working with the Career Center to see how such a bot could assist students searching for information that could assist them as they search for employment. The goal is to reduce the number of phone calls that the Career Center receives by answering the most common ones that account for about fifty percent of total calls.
